Following a design competition Brewster Murray was commissioned by the Anglican Church Diocese of Sydney and the congregation of St. Anne’s Anglican Church at Ryde to design and project manage a multi-purpose worship and administration centre.
Located adjacent to the original sandstone church building and Ryde Court House the competition-winning design was responsive to the needs of the congregation and heritage qualities of the precinct. Comprising new offices, a 400-seat auditorium with an adjoining 200-seat multi-purpose hall, a Sunday school education centre and underground car parking, the new facility provides flexible accommodation combined with state-of-the-art audio-visual and telecommunication facilities.
